Conroy was FANTASTIC,  very efficient an a pleasure to deal with. All questions, however silly, was no problem!! I have a busted shoulder, and was doind this alone, but was told by DEBORAH to sit down an relax. Would gladly recommend them. Thank you. 

The whole move was incredibly professional, from the no obligations quote outside of work hours so I didn't have to miss work to the three wonderful guys who moved the furniture out of our difficult to access apartment in under an hour - amazing!

Had an excellent experience with Conroy's moving from Auckland and re-employed them to move us locally. Booked truck and 3 men for a Saturday move who turned up on time. One of the movers then declared he was sick and going home leaving the other two (one of whom was a schoolboy and only worked Saturdays) to struggle on by themselves. Conroys depot contacted to see how the move was going and after being told one had gone home no action was taken. After 2 hours of the two remaining workers ehausting themselves I had to ring friend and get my 75 year old father to help us unload and reload 2nd collection run. The shift ended up taking 9 hours to move approximately 1km down the road. 

Bad quality boxes, 3 packers, one not experienced, one who should actualy in acc, had a very bad leg and back, were arguing about everything and on the third day one was even send home... The packing job should be finished on Friday in the house and on Saterday they should pack in the packhouse, but they were not finished at all on Friday, so we had to move the rest of the items (sofa, outdoor furniture etc) unwrapped to the packhouse ourself! They took long breaks and every hour an sigaret break. My husband had been calling Nathan so often, it was the worst moving experience we have had. ( we have moved 6 times, but this was really not recommendable to anyone) The team on Monday who loaded the container did a very good job. In South Africa the removal company sended people who had no experience at all, they had to Unload the household into 2 garage boxes, they left open spaces everywhere, no stacking experience, boxes with glassware or fragile stuff are on the bottom and heavy boxes with books are on top, different sizes boxes on top of each other, the boxes are falling apart under the pressure. Fragile thiins where thrown on top of machinery etc. The antique cabinet has been lying on his back, on his side and upside down before they put it the right way in the garage. Moving is a very stressfull proces for the people who are leaving the country, we rely on the moving company that the job is done on time and without complications with work employers.

My consignment originated in Cape Town, South Africa, using MagnaThomson international movers. I gather that Conroy Removals is their local NZ moving company to handle all affairs to do with the consignment on arrival in NZ and the delivery to the NZ address? In any event, I have found Conroy to have been very good at keeping in regular touch with me about the progress of the shipment, and then to do with all the paperwork which needed to be filled in for biosecurity purposes. The delivery of goods itself was completed by a team of three very pleasant and efficient (and strong!!) fellows, who took good care with the precious-to-me cargo of my late mother's estate.
