Overall, all of our belongings were delivered and only had a few cups/bowls broken. Everything was delivered into our place but the moving team was eager to move onto their next delivery which was fine by us as they unwrapped the large things and we wanted to unpack the smaller boxes in their correct rooms. The only problem was that it took close to 4 weeks for the team to come back to remove all the debris. This included one day when they were suppose to come and never did as well as several other follow up emails to eventually get the debris removed.

From start to finish the service was good. Efficient and friendly. Katrina assessed my household quickly and within hours I had a quote. Communication was excellent even her letting me know she would be early for our appointment. Great because I was out and could tell her my ETA!
Sloan and Luggz did most of my packing. Efficient and fast! Courteous and friendly, and triple wrapped things I'd have just thrown in a box! I really appreciated the care taken with my sentimental precious items though.
Mica, Easy and Luggz delivered and unloaded the truck. Sorry if I've spelt your names wrong guys. Mica backed up a long narrow driveway well. They all took care to unload and place things where I wanted. Friendly and efficient again, appreciated.
I haven't unpacked everything yet as am still commuting but the triple wrapping has proven worth it so far.
My only recommendation would be to ring the client with ETA of the truck. I had to ring and check myself.

Didn't even bother comparing other movers after my great experience with you guys moving my things across from Aussie!
There was a slight hiccup with my movel but Conroy solved it within minutes of me ringing them. I am using them again tomorrow for the 2nd half if my move and lm sure it will be worry free.
Im very disappointed with the service I received
I’m overly cautious so purchasing insurance was a no brainer. However, you need to read the fine print and check EVERYTHING as they won’t bother to explain that everything but a full service from Conroy’s falls under restricted cover (something I was never told but my totally my fault - always read the fine print). I packed my boxes and everything else was wrapped, packed and shipped by their employees. When it turned up at my new address, the hole in my lounge (which was clearly a result of shoddy moving practices evidenced by the giant hole in the international grade bubble wrap) wasn’t covered by insurance (yes I sent pics of damage to packaging AND pointed it out to the movers when they bought it into the house. They were very apologetic). If not damage such as this, what was I covered for? Basically, flood, fire ot total loss. Lol. This means any damage incurred accidentally, intentionally or through sheer carelessness of THEIR EMPLOYEES won’t be covered.
Yeah, no thanks. My good faith doesn’t extend that far.
In saying all that, up until this ridiculousness it was going ok and going forward they really need to review their insurance processes and explanations. And they really should take more responsibility for employee carelessness with shipments.
Conroy always delivers the best service both Christchurch and Auckland branches, from the first day quotation to the delivery date, very professional thorough out the whole procedure especially the removal/ delivery personnel. Auckland team were very helpful and went above and beyond to get the delivery completed in a very satisfactory result. The best moving company in New Zealand.
Two members of your team arrived to pack my items, these were packed and just needed wrapping and loading onto the vehicle. Items were rolled onto the packaging, which as many boxes contained multiple items which had been carefully packed you could hear them rattling around as the various items were rolled. some items were loaded onto the truck with no conroy identification label atached - when i queried this with the depot later, I got no real explanation as to how to identify these items or if they had been packed into a larger crate no details. As i havent yet received my items (expected within a few days) i am unable to see how this will transpire. I did however get an updated list but this still didnt explain where these unmarked items were/are.
Sadly your team didnt have the benefit of a vehicle with a tail lift, nor did they have a trolley/sack truck, because of this i had to assist with the carrying to the vehicle and lifting onto the vehicle, to allow the other team member to continue wrapping my items to ensure they left on their expected time schedule.
Not what i expected to have to deal with on an overseas move.
