Once the job was underway it all went very smoothly, nice people, no dings :)
Brian was awesome. Really easy to communicate and work with. The boys that helped him were polite and hard working. Would have been 5 stars but really needed to be more helpers. Ours was a big job and If our kids hadn’t worked just as hard as the paid helper the job would not have been completed on time.
I was advised I would be told the day before when the moving team would arrive to uplift my furniture. I did not receive a personal call and so had to contact your company myself to get an arrival time. When I did I was given a two hour uplift window much later in the day than I had expected or wanted. The crew did not arrive until 12.15 which was after the time I had been advised. When they did arrive there was barely any communication, apart from “can you show us around”. It was unclear who was leading the team of 3. The crew took over 4.5 hours to
load the van and it was obvious they were in no hurry at all. The length of time it took meant I was late to attend my preinspection visit. To speed the move up I moved furniture myself out of rooms to make the process go faster.
The day of delivery my settlemt was delayed until after 4pm. When I was able to access my new home I advised you company who. Very luckily this time more crew were available, inc
End November 2018, whilst living in Australia, I was given short notice to clear storage units of a deceased person in Wellington NZ. Conroy Removals was recommended by someone at the storage facility and I contacted Conroy Removals 2 days before leaving Australia. Joanne Ritchie promptly made an appointment for Katerina Ibieta to meet me at the storage units early the morning after arriving in NZ. I quickly assessed the contents before meeting Katerina and requested 2 quotes regarding furniture and storage boxes. These were promptly compiled whilst I was going through the storage units more thoroughly. It gradually became apparent to me that most of the items would not be necessary in Australia and requested a quote for a much smaller consignment. This was also promptly compiled and sent to me. I accepted the quote and uplift was arranged the day before the storage units were closing. This was an extremely distressing time and I have to thank both Joanne and Katerina who expressed both understanding and compassion whilst performing their duties in a professional manner. They assisted me in completing the necessary documentation in order for the goods to be processed by the appropriate regulatory authorities. The freight handlers kept me informed of transportation details and the goods arrived in Australia as stated in the documentation. The goods are being processed by Conroy Removals Australia. Many thanks again for an excellent service and I will have no hesitation in recommending Conroy Removals NZ.
