Of clients surveyed said they would recommend Conroy Removals to othersReally not happy and really don’t know what else to say. There was a lack of communication regarding the pick up organised in Christchurch and in fact this is what I got from the person the goods were to be picked up from.
They never confirm when they were going to pick the bed up and they turn up yesterday at 2:30 pm while I was having a shower. As I explain after that I had to go and pick up my daughter, so they ended up loading the bed in a hurry and because I needed to leave after the loaded up the mattress I asked them to move a little so I could get out with my car out of my house and I thought they would move the truck like 50 m or so and then stop and tight up all the things but instead they keep on driving, I was going the same way as them and they drove for sure 5 blocks before we part different ways,
I don’t know how the bed turn up to yours but I take no responsibility if it was damaged in transit, this company was pretty unorganised and looks like there was not enough time to tight up the bed to the truck frame before they left ( not sure if they did or not but just in case I’m clarifying this)
Wellington side was all good, and would use again, but I would never have anythuing to do with your Christchurch branch again.
Wellington kept me informed and puicked up goods as contracted. They try to deal with Christchurch on my behalf, however the Christchurch end does not in my opinion understand what customer service is, and I am still waiting on a response for a credit for a job not done.
Had a damaged book shelf during the move.
YhThe main let down woth your service was eith an admin staff member not advising s time for delivery the next day. Apart from an auto reply the day before stating she was out of yhe office until lunch time there was no response from her to my 2'3 emails. O did send her an email the next day saying her service was; VERY SLACK. She certainly let's the team down! The boys on the truck were excellent.

The whole process start to finish was excellent. The constant communication throughout the move, the inital quoting with Colin in Sydney and the packing and collection of my belongings by Sonny and Darly, the help I received from Karen with regards to Customs & Quarantine, to the delivery here in Auckland by Darcey and his Team, everyone was polite, helpful, very efficient and a credit to the Conroy Removals Team. The Conroy's Team made the whole process less stressful.
Many thanks for a efficient and professional service. We are currently out of the country, however,should we have any questions we will contact you on our return in December.

I've used Conroys before and had a great experience. I wish I could say the same this time round. The lack of communication was appalling - emails were not responded to and I would always have to ring the contact centre to actually get a response. The problem here was that I was constantly given conflicting information, especially when it came to delivery timeframes. This quickly became stressful as I had to arrange time off work to meet the truck for delivery, but receiving confirmation of when delivery would actually be made was like drawing blood from a stone. I had also requested a few changes be made to my original quote but these were not actioned so I had to confirm they had been made multiple times. There was also issues when the truck arrived to pick up my furntiure. Only ONE person (the driver) showed up to remove the furntiture and pack it into the truck. I had large items of furntiture (bed, couches etc) so my brother-in-law had to help with the loading. This is totally unacceptable - I am paying for this service to be done for me and Conroys should not expect that the customer is able to help. What if it had been an elderly person or pregnant woman at the pick up address and they were physically unable to help the driver load the truck?The only positive feedback I have is that the men who delivered my furniture were friendly and helpful. Otherwise, this was not a pleasant experience and I will not be using Conroys again. Communication and customer service needs to seriously be improved. The whole point of using "professional" furnture removers is to make the whole process easy and stress free however in reality the experience was the exact opposite.
There was not enough room on the truck to collect the two items I had paid for, so only one was collected. This meant I had to organise the collection of the left behind item myself. I took photos of the truck when it arrived as soon as the doors were opened and it clearly shows no space left for the fridge/freezer that was left behind and the driver confirmed this.
The whole purpoise in using Conroy's on both Z and Y jobs was to save me time. I paid $180 for each job and I expect a full refund, as I would have collected both Christchurch and Asnburton goods and not just gone for one item at Ashburton.
I was advised by the person the goods were being collected from in Ashburton that only one of the two items was picked up. Your branch necver contacted me and still has not contacted me with any apology or anything.
On original job I also forget to place in the feed back that communication over the job was sub standard to say the least. The Chch branch did eventually call back just before 5 the day the delivery was suppossed to happen, despite earlier promising to call me back straight after lunch, and they said that they would be in Timaru around 7 to 7:30 but would only off load part being mainly the bed, and the rest the next morning. There was no point in that so I asked what was easier for them and they said all in the morning.
I have had no apology or answer from your company at all on my request for refund. Pretty poor considering. I really don’t know what else to say other than I have never received such pooir service from anyone.
