The team on the day did a great job and worked extremely hard and professionally all day.
Really happy with the team. Working in the rain made the job really hard. The guys where supper nice and I would book them again in the future.
Big thank you to the team
I will always move with Conroy both international and inter island. My family and I have moved over 40 times so far and by far Conroy has been the best to move with, from the beginning talking to Tana in Melbourne through to dropping off of our gear in Taupo. Tana was a delight after trying for two weeks dealing with another company where I felt I had just had enough to Tana just making it so easy within a day it was done, all orgainised, sorted and any problems whatsoever to call her straight back. They kept me informed as to where our gear was, when it had cleared customs etc. Good work Conroy Melbourne Australia and New Zealand.
Conroys came highly recommended to me and I would certainly recommend them on. From the time of my booking with Joanne to the end of the delivery, everything was conducted in a professional manner. Dispatch called the day before to reconfirm times and delivery points. I had two major pickups across greater Wellington. Despite a few heavy items, Rupe and Scott conducted the move with diligence andcare, giving me confidence that everything would arrive safely. I was very impressed by the team work between the two and I would definitely use the company again, requesting the same team!
Had the same guys back and they were a great team. Thanks.
The pre visit planning was good, and the communication with management was good.
Unfortunately the overseeing driver struggled with the truck and made some poor decisions around backing it into the delivery area, and it became stuck and required assistance to move, albeit on a tricky site. The move should have taken 5 hours max, but ended up taking around 9 hours. There were regular delays including a pretty slow work rate, and the drive between locations lasting 40 minutes more than it took me. I didnt appreciate the swearing about the piano, or being asked why I hadnt removed the dirt from our garden pots. Neighbours not happy about damage to their lawn, and there was damage to the driveway when the truck was stuck. The truck in the end was to big for the delivery site, and perhaps two smaller trucks should have been used. Overall a pretty stressful experience that took a very long time. On the positive front there was only 1 pot damaged, so the care was good.
Both days went really well the guys on both days were really fantastic. Was really impressed with the care taken in getting the truck in and out of a very tight access on the drop off day. Thanks to Mark the driver for making it all happen so smoothly.
So glad we chose you to do our move! The guys were fantastic! They made it easy, quick and hassle free for us! Thank you!
Everything was done as promised. Only reason you did not get 5 stars was because the black tallboy was badly scratched on top

I provided an updated phone number once I was here in NZ however it was not updated in your system and the person I had previously listed was still contacted for delivery. I was told in advance the date and time of delivery. The delivery arrived late from the window provided which is understandable. When it did arrive, the truck was quite small and I asked is this all my stuff and they said yes. Started to offload to realise that alot is still missing. I was told by the men to call the dispatching department. I got Pete on the phone and he mentioned that the overflow will arrive the next day. I was quite upset and asked him why I was not communicated this before? I took the day off from my new job and now I need to take another day off for a second delivery? He said we are trying to help you. I told him you are not helping me by bringing the overflow the next day. Pete continued to tell me over and over again "YOU ARE NOT LISTENING TO ME" honestly, he was really not listening to me and I did not want an argument because there is nothing, I can really do over the phone but just request for the delivery on the same day. It was between 12noon-1pm. In a couple of minutes, the person I listed as contact originally called me to say that the overflow will arrive at 3pm. I was quite happy. The men who came with the first lot said that it could be them or some other team that will arrive later they are not sure and left with the empty truck. We waited and waited thinking they are stuck in traffic. At 5pm I called dispatch department again and the gentleman who answered the phone instantly knew who I was and said that he will call me back in 5 mins. I told him let me give you my phone number and he said I have it on file and hung up. I obviously did not hear back. It was 6:30pm still nothing and now when I called no one answered the phone. I have two kids 2yrs, 6yrs Senior Mother and we all waiting in a house of mess and no place to sleep. I then decided it was best to make space and laydown the mattresses that were delivered since it was getting quite late and close to dinner time. At 7:30pm when I was about to get kids in the shower and ready for bed the second delivery arrived. It was very dark outside and raining and we were unable to see any numbers to tally the boxes received. It was windy, rainy and cold and we all had to suffer through it with the door open. My kids by then were losing it.
It’s very unfortunate that my family had to go through this for a service I paid for. They managed to put our beds together. I asked them not to assemble the third bed coz we did not have the space however I asked for them to attach the mirror to the dresser and the did not do it. They said that it was company policy not to do it/ no screw driver. I asked them please tell me which one it is because they did not even secure the bed slats since they did not have a screw driver and told me in NZ they don't do it anyways. I did not want to argue about it because by then it was 9:15pm my kids were crying and the driver kept telling me that he is not supposed to drive the truck after a certain time or else he will get fined.
Honestly words just cannot describe what me and my family went through on that day. My two kids and my senior Mom who kept telling the boys "Thank you very much for all the trouble you guys took and that we don't want to add to your list and want you guys to be home with your family too" I almost cried when she said that because she did not really care of our situation but was worried about them.
