Of clients surveyed said they would recommend Conroy Removals to othersI've used Conroys before and had a great experience. I wish I could say the same this time round. The lack of communication was appalling - emails were not responded to and I would always have to ring the contact centre to actually get a response. The problem here was that I was constantly given conflicting information, especially when it came to delivery timeframes. This quickly became stressful as I had to arrange time off work to meet the truck for delivery, but receiving confirmation of when delivery would actually be made was like drawing blood from a stone. I had also requested a few changes be made to my original quote but these were not actioned so I had to confirm they had been made multiple times. There was also issues when the truck arrived to pick up my furntiure. Only ONE person (the driver) showed up to remove the furntiture and pack it into the truck. I had large items of furntiture (bed, couches etc) so my brother-in-law had to help with the loading. This is totally unacceptable - I am paying for this service to be done for me and Conroys should not expect that the customer is able to help. What if it had been an elderly person or pregnant woman at the pick up address and they were physically unable to help the driver load the truck?The only positive feedback I have is that the men who delivered my furniture were friendly and helpful. Otherwise, this was not a pleasant experience and I will not be using Conroys again. Communication and customer service needs to seriously be improved. The whole point of using "professional" furnture removers is to make the whole process easy and stress free however in reality the experience was the exact opposite.
The packing crew were great, and efficient, three guys and packing the first half to go into storage. Luckily
i had booked a 24 cu.m unit as it only just went in. Then next day the same crew packing for transfer to Auckland. Wednesday, delivery into a 2nd floor flat with no lift.....only two on the crew - really needed three for this. But they both worked hard. Cameron [Tauranga, driver/crew] and unnamed Italian guy from Auckland crew. A great shout out to both of these guys.The only headache, the two of them would not be able to get a large 3 seater sofa up into the flat - so it was to be deliverred two days later.
The move went smoothly and was ably run by Quentin and Scotty who were friendly and courteous, and worked safely and effectively
I would definately recommend Conroy removals .They are good at what they do and their team are friendly yet fast and you can see are experienced at their duties .Well done Conroy removals .

I had to call on the morning our stuff was meant to arrive to organize a time. This was set for 11am. At 12 midday I called again to find out why it was taking so long and was told there was a delay and truck had not even left yet. It should not have been difficult in either case for someone to have called me to organize a time and let me know that there were delays. A couple of furniture items had also been damaged through poor handling during transit.
I found my experience with Conroy to be unprofessional and unacceptable, considering I paid $2,200 for this. Will not been using this again and will not be recommending to others.
Is unfortunate as staff I had spoken to to book this were extremely polite and helpful.
Excellent serivce all goods received in good condition
The service I received was uniformly very good. The movers arrived early and were very polite and informative. I do have 2 complaints. First, it was a very wet day and the roof of the truck was leaking so the floor in the middle was very wet. Since everything got slightly wet, having a wet truck would not have helped it dry out quickly. This is not good enough. Second, the movers did not bring a bag for the mattress, saying, "we'll bag it at the depot". This meant it got wet during loading and may have got wetter during transport. You are storing our stuff while we find a new property, so you will get a much bigger complaint if our mattress is mouldy when we get it back. I would like to know how our mattress will be treated to dry it out before bagging.
We have used your services before and were happy with them which is why we came back this time.
The removal guys were great and I would like you to pass on our thanks to them (tell them we are the people with the pet lizard)
Although we had booked in plenty of time and I had spoken to a man who gave us helpful advice, by 3pm the day before we moved we had not heard back from you as to the details of the move. When I phoned up, people could not find our booking details, so at 3.30pm I was phoning around other removal companies to find a back up company in case you weren't able to move us. Our experience is that the admin and communication could be improved.
Punctual and very efficient team who took great care with our furniture. Thank you to this team, and to Kyle who kept me in the loop with timing etc.
I was really impressed with the speed of the delivery, the guys I spoke to on both sides of the Tasman were really polite and friendly and more than happy to help with anythoing. this is the second time I have used Conroys to move my gear to Australia and I highly recommend them for any move big or small.
