Very good communication throughout.
The three guys who moved us were fantastic. Can't rate them highly enough. Nothing was a problem and they did everything with a smile.
I was less impressed with the communication side of things from the office. I had emailed to ask what time we should expect the truck to turn up and never got a response to that at all.
There was some confusion regarding when furniture would be delivered to my new property. No one called to say when they would be there. If my daughter hadn't been driving past and saw the truck they would have had a long wait until I arrived at 6.45pm
I was totally happy with the whole experience until I started unwrapping my goods. 5 broken items! 2 crystal glasses, an old coca cola glass, and a plate and cup from my Royal Doulton dinner set, I have photos of these if you wish to see. I am terribly upset about the dinner set. It was my late mother's and now it is incomplete. It was in a plastic container inside a carton but the container was upside down when we opened it. So much for having fragile stickers!
I was told delivery would be about 6 weeks and ended up taking 3 months with very little communication
Having a steep driveway we particularly requested an on-site assessment and quote relating to this issue. On the day of uplift the truck and container could not use the driveway as planned causing a long delay waiting for another smaller truck to become available as a feeder type service.
Furniture was packed into the van very carefully although the unloading was a bit rushed with the lads anxious to get away.
