"I never give anyone 5 stars!!"
I never give anyone 5 stars!! We were very happy with the 3 men we had, they were very helpful and it was a very hard shift with lots of heavy furniture. Thanks
"Would definately reccommend to others"
Was the cheapest option for a small job including insurance when compared with Crown and The Moving Company.
Friendly and helpful staff, Would definately reccommend to others.
Thanks for your service!

Good day to you,
Thank you for the opportunity to give our feedback on our recent move.
We have used Conroy 4 times over the past 6 years and have stuck with Conroy as we are loyal kind of people. The changes however is impossible to miss or ignore. The first time was easy, our container was taken from Tauranga to Waikanae and off loaded. This was done quickly and efficiently. From Waikanae to 39 Romana Cres, Papamoa our boxes were clearly numbered and recorded on a list, as well as stickers placed on the boxes with our name on. Very professional and everything really handled with care. From 39 Romana Cres to 19 Tatahi Cove, Papamoa it was only a 2 km move so it was fast and efficient (no name stickers etc this time). With all three of the above moves a set amount was quoted that we agreed to and paid.
Our recent move from Tatahi Cove to Kawerau was as though we used a different company altogether. I thank the admin staff (Sue in particular) who was very helpful and professional and a pleasure to deal with. Our quote this time was $140 admin fee plus $150 per hour. Not having a pre-agreed amount was not easy to budget for and in our opinion this can leave loopholes that the client has to pay for. Make no mistake, the 3 blokes moving us were delightful and a pleasure to have around, but paying per hour......well, there is no limit to the time is there? No stickers, no box count, and generally not what we are used to with Conroy. The changes over the years are unfortunate - pay more for less in our opinion.
We have ticked 'yes' for whether we would use your services again, as there is not really many choices given (i.e. 1 - 10), and we would not like to totally bypassf Conroy as a moving company in the future - something we hope would not happen soon again with us finding a home here. And 'yes' we will recommend Conroy (as we have done many times in the past) but it will have to be up to the people themselves whether they could accept those conditions no doubt.
Thank you for your time and wishing you all the very best for the future,
Kind regards,
Alan & Tersia
"Overall great service"
Overall great service only "niggle" is contact between your AKLD and Tauranga office. We were given differing information - and the actual delivery date wasn't conveyed until we called to investigate. As a client very annoying when trying to organise a house/address for furniture to be delivered to.
Efficient service - Thank You.
"friendly and efficient workers"
arrived on time, friendly and efficient workers.
"did a great job"
Good bunch of people on moving day who did a great job
"I found the process easy"
I found the process easy - however, a couple of points I'd like to make. I first called Conroy's to get an estimate of the cost for the item to be collected from Qtown and delivered to Wellington and was told it would be around $280. That gave me a good guide as to the total cost of the item and with confidence I bidded and won the auction on Trade Me. I then called your company to arrange pick up and was told I should have got a firm quote (being unfamiliar with the process I hadn't done that). I was then told the total cost was $800+. I had no choice but to go ahead - but you can see that the cost was a huge variation to the price I was given prior to my bidding on the auction.
The second point - I expected delivery to be about 10 working days time but it was much longer than that. I followed up about 5 working days later to see how it was progressing and was told it was in the Chch depot. I didn't receive the item for another two weeks. To be honest - it suited me because it was only going into storage but had I wanted the item in a hurry, I would have had to be chasing your company up to get it on time.
The guys when they came to collect the items had no suporting paperwork. When the items arrived at Wanaka the driver asked my wife what did she expect to receive. Fortunately I had made a list of the items which I passed on to her & she was able to check everything off. Hopefully everything has arrived.
