"Truck arrived for delivery more than two hours late"
Truck arrived for delivery more than two hours late. Advised it would be one hour late. We had helpers waiting around. Some items damaged or broken. Picture glass broken, fan stem broken, chair upholstery dented from pressure of poor packing.
"belongings arrived intact"
Very pleased that most of our belongings arrived intact, but sadly a number of items were damaged (although only slightly) With all the handling that had been carried out, Im surprised more items were not broken. Personaly I believe that items with a hard square edge needed to have extra packaging as either rub marks or chunks were missing. The guys, both in Melbourne and in Napier were all very pleasant and only too willing to assist.
"the communication was great"
From the australian end couldnt fault it really, the communication was great, the packers were good. My shipment arrived in port when it was meant to, after that went a bit pear shaped as delivery was an unpack as well it didnt happen the day organized it was delivered no qualms about the guys who delivered Glen and Jack were great there just wasnt time i think it was lack of communication so it was organized for next day and once again the guys were great steve and adam. i just found it to be very stressful and it shouldnt have been as thats why i chose conroy and pack and unpack. New Zealand let me down. i ended up unpacking lots of boxes myself as it was stuff i needed to use to stay in house. as a result i have injured my back so not that happy.

"overall move went exceptionally well"
Hi the overall move went exceptionally well, great staff to deal with. The only two things that would have made the whole experience better 1) we had to wait around from early morning in Palmerston until mid afternoon for you to arrive. It would have been good to know before we left Napier that this would happen. However the gentleman from Conroys did ring and tried to get them there as soon as he could 2) We had our fridge in the kitchen on a piece of carpet to protect the newly sanded wooden floors and this was removed off and dragged across the floors creating two long scratches in the wood which was disappointing.
"furniture is fine"
Communication between myself and Conroys about when the furniture was going to be delivered. All worked out in the end but my mother-in-law was a bit 'caught on the hop' with getting to our house to be there when the van arrived as we are in the UK at the moment. Anyway, no worries now and hopefully the furniture is fine. We will see it once back in NZ again at the beginning of December. Thank you.

We have now moved items internationally with Conroys three times and found the service you provided excellence. We were dispappointed with the service at the England end. You reccommended Robinsons, we found the move manager who was appointed to us did not communicate well, did not listen to what we were requested. I did feedback this to Robinsons at the time.

Great service.All our items arrived in good condition.Large items/furniture packed really well by conroy.Nothing damaged on arrival. I would recommend conroy.

Quote and booking process was smooth. Christchurch end was very good, 2 guys both friendly loaded the furniture with care. Palmerston North end was not so great, one guy on his own meant we had to carry most of the furniture to the house ourselves, just lucky my sons where there at the time, i don't think it is good practice to expect one guy to be unloading heavy couches etc on his own, health and safety wise, it's no wonder he had the personality of a dead fish. Overall though the goods arrived in good order and customer service was helpful when I called to check etd, some sort of online tracking would be an improvement for the future.
The packer was on time and efficient but having to wait a further 2hrs for movers to arrive was not good. I would not have thought it would take 6hrs to do such a small move.
