Really Nice Team
The team were really nice and worked in efficient manner. I apppreciated that someone came ahead for the packing. This avoids loosing time during uplift.
I would only suggest to contact the customer earlier to confirm the time of the uplift and delivery (at least two days ahead).

Smooth Move
I was impressed with the customer service team, as they picked up the phones quickly and were very helpful.
However, I had called the morning of my scheduled move to stresss that there was a chance our property manager couldn't give us our keys to move in that day. I asked to be called at lunch for an approx delivery time but hadn't heard. When we finally arrived at the house the movers had been waiting for 5minutes which was lucky timing because there was a chance that we wouldn't have turned up at all.
Everything else went smoothly but I was frustrated that I wasn't warned when the movers would arrive.
Good Value for Money
I always find Conroy to be good value for money, friendly staff and very smooth process. The only thing that went wrong this time was a piece of art work wasn't wrapped in bubble wrap and the paint was scratched which I will need to get an artist to touch up. Because the art work is on an old piece of wood, maybe the packing staff thought it wasn't valuable, however I had wrapped it in blankets indicating it was an important item as well as requesting art work be wrapped. Other than that all ok. It might pay to send the photos of the entrance way and any information regarding the address to the delivery guys as they knew nothing of what I had sent to admin. The delivery guys were excellent! All round, a good service.
Overall Good Job
Overall we were very happy with the service provided by Conroy. However we did think that communication could be improved a bit. For instance we received no receipt or email confirmation to indicate that payment had been received. Although we did receive a call to confirm what time the packing team would arrive, we did not receive any info regarding what time the moving team would arrive the following day, nor did we hear from anyone when they had finished. Apart from that, everything was excellent. The packing and moving teams all did an excellent job of keeping our stuff safe. Much appreciated.
Couple of Things to Remember
We didn't know we should have emptied water tray from fridge,, Didn't know fridge had one. & wasn't told we where ment to take tapes of washing machine sorry I think we made the boys a bit cross . We hadn't moved before.
All Went Well
All went well from my perspective, especially as it was in Wellington and I am based in Auckland.
Everything Arrived Safe and Intact
Excellent service from the packers with everything arriving safely and intact. Communication from despatch was good with regular updates on the whereabouts of the removal van. Delivery staff did an excellent job given the trying conditions on arrival that being pouring with rain and on a day when the tail end of Cyclone Gita hit Christchurch. I was very pleased that it had been agreed at Quotation to plastic wrap all my light coloured furniture at no extra cost. It would have been a disaster at offloading given the weather on the day.
Careful Packing
Excellent relocation for my mothers home contents. Careful packing. No damage at either end. Positive and hardworking staff at every step of the process. Thanks.
Excellent communications that kept us informed of what was happening with our container of household items - arrival in NZ, customs clearance, quarintine clearance and delivery. Moving team were good on the day and we had everything inside our new home within hours. A few extra trolleys would have made the moving more efficient and saved on double handling and excessive carrying. Some items were damaged however we believe this to be due to packaging and storage by the overseas transport company and not reflective of Conroy's involvement.
