"The staff were absolutely fantastic"
The staff were absolutely fantastic and worked incredibly hard, especially Graham and Renee, who couldn't do enough fo us. Just one negative comment I don't think we had enough manpower considering the size of the house and the fact they had to traverse 3 levels on the hill.

"you do a difficult job very well"
Everyone we dealt with was friendly and efficient, Henry in the Christchurch office,was very helpful and sorted out all my problems. Two minor concerns still to be resolved. Wallpaper damage at 112b and a broken glass top. I'm sure this will be sorted. The two ladies I dealt with in Napier were very patient and helpful once they knew I was elderly, with poor eyesight and only had limited internet skills.I can't think of any ways you could improve your service,it seems to me that you do a difficult job very well.
Good service but lacking communication
My first impression with Conroy was meeting Nathan at our Napier apartment, who had a look around and generated our quote, nice guy. At this time, we hadn't found a place and so he ticked the storage option. About a week later, we found a place in Lower Hutt, and I accepted the quote and insurance, filling out the forms online. I was under the impression we would move the same day and this was reflected on the online form. I paid in person at the head office in Napier and confirmed with the receptionist our new address and also the fact we would be moving house the same day. When the movers came and had everything loaded up, they said it would be delivered some time the next day. I called dispatch and the gentleman told me there was no way that would happen, and he would call me back. After waiting over an hour, I called back and he said they would deliver it tomorrow at 1PM. This mucked up our plans a bit. Luckily, my partner was already staying in Tawa close by so we stayed there for the night. The next morning, I get a call from Lester asking me, "how'd you like to have it delivered at 11AM?" I said that would be great, the sooner the better. He said he'd call me back to confirm as he wasn't entirely sure this could happen. I never heard from him again. I thought I'd play it safe and drive over to our new place just before 11 and sure enough the moving truck was already in the driveway. Again, we were not communicated with.
From misplacing the key to my unit or it getting lost in the post and I having to make alternative arrangements with the storage company. Which was a bit of a hassle. Also advised the furniture would arrive at 10am. Didn’t arrive until 1.30. I wasn’t rung at 8am to be advised it would come later in the day. But apart from those minor mishaps I was very happy with the customer service and the guys that delivered the goods.
