A good careful pack and shift. Nothing broken. Except the entire contents of my fridge and freezer plus a 6 piece dinner set were left behind!

It was a seamless procedure with good banter between myself and the packer and truck driver during loading of truck.

Fast, efficient, competent movers. Our items were packed up in super quick time, and delivered on time the next day. No damage. The guys made the whole experience hassle free.

Lynn Douglas was excellent and very responsive to my emails. If I was rating based on her service alone, then Conroy would receive 5 Star.
However, the delivery team scratch the newly polished native timber floor in at least two seperate locations. The team also left with work uncomplete due to another delivery in the afternoon. There are also 4 single sofa legs missing, which we are still liaising with Conroy to find. We have now emptied some boxes and will need to liaise with Conroy for another day to pick up these boxes.

Getting staff to work in the weekend could be an area for improvement. Declaring from the beginning of the process that there is a likelhood of 2 or 3 other households being in the one delivery or pick up Given different dates for delivery, in the beginning it was likely to be May 3, then advised it would be May 8 and then advised it would be May 4 (which was the actual date of delivery). The May 8 date made us re think our own packing and what we were taking form Gisborne to Christchurch as we were taking posession of our house on May 2 and we would have no bed etc. We were ok about this as we took our camping gear however the third date change was given when we had arrived in Christchurch so couldn't go back and change what we were bringing. The delivery of items was on time and was welcome.
.Not all our items have arrived. Have made contact with Conroys here in Christchurch to see if someone else has them and hopefully they will arrive in the coming days. We are missing one black tea trolley, 2 hand carved door stops (Oamaru stone) one gumboot rack (wwod and reinforcing rod) and various computer cords discs and 2 external hard drives. Not worth claiming via insurance however these are important to us.
There was a minor communication problem at the beginning, but overall the goods were packed extremely well and delivered within the time frame specified. I was however dissapointed with Customs - Australia, when my goods were inspected as they did not reseal items checked, to me that is unprofessional as they still have a duty of care.
The staff at Conroys were very good informing myself via email of where the goods were at at all times and I thank them greatly for that service.
