UK partner was a let down
The service i recieved in NZ was straight forward, my experience over here in the UK with your partners 'anglo pacific' have been absolutly appaling, I was informed my furniture would arrive early July, is now the start of september and i have no idea where my effects are, it has proved impossible to communicate effectivly with anyone, ive the impression no one knows whats going on.
I would recomend Conroys to friends and relatives but only for internal moves/ NZ.For anyone considering relocating to UK beware...!

Would be a 5 for the second crew, but the first crew were unable to do the job. The second crew did an excellent job.

Improvements to be made
We intend this review to be helpful not critical. The points covered are in order of when areas of concern happened during the whole process.
1. We believe the packing staff were not given clear instructions of time allowed for the packing. This mainly revolves around the point that management did not give them enough time to complete the job in the time allowed. From past experiences with Conroy, we believe more training be given to how to pack expensive items and to be more cognisant of values. IE. Crystal and fine art. Truthfully, we were surprised there wasn't more damage.
2. The unload process was done at 100mph and we had to ask one particular young man to repeatedly slow down when coming off the ramp and running up a 2-3cm lip to enter the house. Also too many boxes were carried on each load.
3. Obtaining a claim form for damage through your website has been impossible. The link repeatedly comes up with 'Forbidden 403.
4. Training of staff, and having well presented Company personal is paramont, and this experience of relocation, compared to when Conroys moved us several times in the past, has deteriorated. To be fare, Deborah was new, but as first contact with Conroy, this person not only provides a quotation, but must assess the quality of the products to be shifted. For us, specifically Art, Crystal, glassware, furniture and dinnerware. Packaging was substandard. Lama and his mate, nice personality but limitations on understanding people's quality needs. The truck driver and packer of the truck was first class.
Somethings not to do: Quality Art; wrap by them selves not in threes and in one case 5 pieces together. Glass touching glass. Expensive pieces of crockery, 3-6 plates together without paper between. Several plates chipped. From the USA over $100 each to replace plus freight. Some furniture was scratched and bruised.Yes can be repaired but the frustration of being without is hardly worth it.!!!!! With each key aspect of the the pack and unpack, their should be a senior person who should clearly identify himself. No one did this.

All over very good experience and service

Hi there, I would like you to thank the two enegetic delivery guys. They did well to drop off, unwrap and then shift inside the delivered items. It all went well. There were two little issues that I would like to mention.The initial pick up in QLD kind of happened before I was totally ready. My sister was the contact person and she was also a little surprised at the speed of pick up. I was not present at the wrapping and pick up stage. I would like to have marked the chest, this side up, as it was packed that way with family heirlooms. We are gathering as a family to open this weekend.The original Invoice was a little disconcerting as it contained two different spellings of my surname and also my sisters christian name. Small stuff in the big picture but my initial thoughts of "Who have I trusted my family history with here???" seem to have been unfounded.The end result so far, Thank you Conroy removals, Mick Sauer.

Overall Positive
My overall experience was very positive with Conroy. Friendly communication from the drivers and office folk. I had an unusal load being transported and I felt you guys took my concerns for my belongings onboard and were willing to pick up and transport unweildy items. The only niggle was the driver in CHCH said he would place fragile stickers on them, he didn't and the bottoms of the metals plates covering had been damaged so they had been slid along the floor rather than carried which I had asked not to happen. I do appreciate that they are going through a number of different handlers so the message my have gotten lost. Over all I am happy.
