Of clients surveyed said they would recommend Conroy Removals to othersThe people who delivered the goods were excellent, they picked up on damage from the outset and pointed it out to us which was appreciated, they told us they would come back to remove the rubbish but we disposed of the rubbish ourselves in this instance. It is a good service to offer. We were told we have 2 weeks to report the damage, this is what I am doing tonight as two weeks is up on Tuesday? Perhaps they could have left us with a form or where to find a form on which to claim for your damages?
Because our shipment has taken so long on its journey we were disappointed that it had to go from Christchurch to Napier to come back to Christchurch but it was an understandable explanation that was given to us.
Communication and Packing from Orbit could definitely be improved.
Was kept up to date with all that was happening. Paperwork was easy. Only downfall was the packing. 1st pick up was cancelled as they had no packing gear. 2nd pick up turned up without bubble wrap for my breakables and not enough big boxes. Fingers crossed nothings broken.
Our experience this time was much improved on 5 years ago. Team work was very good and friendly to us and each other.
It was quick to organise the move and we were very happy with the service

Pick up date/time moved a few times, and delivery was delay by a day or two.
It was a difficult day for the guys with bad weather and poor access but they maintained a positive attitude and worked hard to make the move from Wellington to Levin for us as smooth as possible.
Fast but not so reliable about their timing. Lady dispatch officer from Auckland was rude. Hope you can improve your customer service.
The two guys were. efficient and polite. Hope they are paid well.
Over all it was a very good shift compared to others I have had in the past. A desk leg is broken off, the front of a bedside table drawer is broken off, a hall stand has a mark on the top of it, one of the men bumped a tallboy with a boxotterman, causing a mark, and a dress with artificial leather along the bottom has been ripped by being placed on top of coathangers. The men in Tauranga and Christchurch worked very hard, and were very oblidging. I expect that sometimes items get broken while shifting, it seems unavoidable. The only thing I would recommend for improvement would be hanging boxes for clothing. All my clothes were terribly creased and had to be washed or steamed to get the creases out. In Tauranga I left my medication for the day on the bench and it was packed. Packers should ask questions about medications before packing them. Also I had items with a note on, DO NOT PACK, and they were packed. The TV remote, and stand, for the TV I left for the new owner. I now have to courier her the remote. The note was plain to see. I am just telling you these things for improvement. I am very pleased with the shift. The men worked very hard, and were very pleasant. I would definately recommend your company, and should we shift north once more we, would use your company again.
Just a bit more communication - on the day of pick up the guys were late (and thats okay) but they only communicated with us 10 minutes before they arrived - which was nealry 2 hours late for the 10:30am start. I had also rang through to the office to try and get an update, but got no response. Perhaps a call sooner would be better, as we had a meeting in Hamilton to be on time for. This lack of communication also ocurred at the deleivery end, the following day. Told they would be at our place at 9am - but did not turn up until 12.45pm. Time frames are important - so a little more keep the client up to date would make all the difference.
The guys that loaded the truck at both ends were great - no issues at all. We also have lost the cord and key to the treadmill.....which we leave wrapped around the handle. Could that have fallen off and being left in the truck??
