All in all I was very happy with the service. But packers took 5 hours to pack and didnt seem to be in too much of a hurry but stacked it well and were nice and friendly.
Truck got stuck in our gateway and one side of the gate came off but they sorted it and fixed the gate.
Some extra guys came to help unpack at the new house and one in particular seemed much more focused on moving a bit quicker which was great.
Did really well put everything in the rooms they were asked to. Bought them pizza afterwards so hope they enjoyed that.
Unfortunately some things got marked and broken. The wheels for my study drawers, 3 were broken and smashed they said it would have been the weight of everything on top of it. My tv cabinet for the lounge has a deep groove in it and also quite upsettingly my dressing table has been terribly damaged and marked on one end on the top of the drawers. So a bit upset about that.
The Conroy team from both ends were easy to work with and approachable.
All goods received in good order.
Paperwork, processes, procedures and clearances handled professionally with no additional worries to us.
Even though goods were in transit during the Covid-19 Lockdown, delivery of the goods were not much delayed.
The guys were effeicent, friendly and helpful. This is the 6th move Conroys have done for us and once again they did a great job. Thanks Conroys!!
My fridge foot was lost by your team which is disappointing otherwise I was very happy.
A few items damaged, minorly but quite a few.. seemingly just dropped items or crushed when specifically marked and wrapped with fragile tape. Little fridge door dents is a no no.. This in part could have been due to the rush at the end of the day with staff having to unload in the dark down steps without adequate lighting using phones to light the way and also 'a lot' more packaging required on our behalf. I had asked if they would have preferred to work in the morning and was declined. In saying that, every single person we dealt with was amazing, courteous and all worked extraordinarily hard to get the job done for us! Pack items as if your life depended on it is all I can say. Stuff happens!
I felt really sorry for the guys who delivered our furniture in Wellington – they got to our place at 8.30pm on a Friday night. They were in good spirits and did a good job, but they were obviously overbooked for the day. I hope they get overtime for that :)
Other than that, everything has been awesome. The guys who packed and moved us in Australia packed everything really, really well. Communication was great, it was just those poor guys on Friday. I understand about trying to keep all the clients happy, but please take care of your workers.
