The pics sent about our driveway didnt reach the driver. Office didnt put them through he said.
but thats tiny for us, overall a very good experience.
I was very pleased with the service I received from Conroy Removals. Items were packed very well and no breakages were encounted. All in all very good service.
Only one gripe. I was charged for double handling, when there was not, as my belongings were put into a container for storage, where they stayed until delivery. I was led to believe that my belongings were to be unloaded into storage, then loaded again onto the delivery truck. That to me is double handling, but lifting a container off and on a truck again, when I was charged over $300 for this is to me way too much to charge for so called double handling. What does Conroy Removers call double handling? Some reverse credit charges would be very welcome.
Apart from that a great company to deal with.
some spare parts were wraped into waste package when unpacking my furnitures. Picking up trashes of packages is not the same day with delivery.
Although at the end of the day it didn't make much difference, I was surprised to learn that Katerina only worked Monday to Friday and I wanted to make contact with someone during the weekend. I was under time pressure, and wanted matters sorted quickly. Being a company that needs to respond to enquiries I was surprised there was no-one available to give us service over a weekend. This would be my only criticism and in saying this fully respect Katerina's hours suit her but may be not customer needs. I thought we should have been referred to someone else to provide the information and service I was looking for at the time. We has the goods in storage for now, and will be able to give a more complete response after delivery has been made.
The only issue we had was delivery as discussed piror time and date as arranged
The instructions on the docket advised to communicate about pick up times and drop off times via text message, but this never happened. This is my only critique.
The guys turned up both at pick and delivery on time and delivered the furniture safely. Very helpful
