Would appreciate earlier communication about timing of uplifts etc. but otherwise I would definitely recommend to others and use the service again.
The team who moved everything in to our house were great. The lack of communication to repeated emails prior to the move was unacceptable.
Good cominication onely one glas broken carefully unloaded and laughter from the workers !!! Shame that some Dutch ppl complained on Facebook!!! Due i experienced a verry good service nga mihi Roy
Removal (uplift truck) from our Hawkes Bay home wasn't big enough which meant we waited around for several hours for 2nd truck to complete the removal - not ideal.
Otherwise excellent service from packers, all of admin team and the Porirua team who did the delivery to our new home were fantastic
Also very quick to come and collect empty boxes.
From getting the quote through to the packing and loading Conroys were very professional. The packers were friendly and efficient at a quite stressful time for us. Conroys kept us informed the day prior as to who would be coming the following day and at what time. Our possessions are now in Conroys storage so I am hoping the second part of our experience will be as positive as it has been so far. My only criticism is the inability to talk to a person at Conroys WHEN the packing is in progress. When I phoned repeatedly I got an answerphone telling me to leave a message. To date the message I left was not responded to. I would give a 10/10 if, whilst the packing/loading days are happening, I had been given a cellphone number of a person at Conroys for any queries I may have (the packers don't know the answers to some things that arise). During the move the communication FROM Conroys was excellent but only when initiated by Conroys - it needs to be two-way so that the customer can also get in touch.
Conroy were absolutely brilliant during the whole import process, except no one remembered to notify me as to when my goods were going to be dispatched from Christchurch. Unfortunately when I got a call from the truck driver saying he was 15 minutes away from the delivery address, I was 2.5 hours away. However we sorted the problem very quickly and I simply met him at his next delivery point, as I only had a small load it wasn't a problem. The driver was really helpful (it wasn't his fault) but someone in the dispatch deprtment needs to give a bit of advance warning
Had to follow up a few times to check in on where things were at but otherwise great service.
The 3 men who moved my furniture were fantastic. It was a particularly difficult job, but they stayed friendly and professional until the end. I was very grateful for their help.
The only issue I had was that I never received a confirmation email that I had booked the move and had to follow it up
At all stages of the process the staff were wonderful and professional. It was just unfortunate that the pedestal to our tv didn't survive the move. But over all a great service was provided.
