Of clients surveyed said they would recommend Conroy Removals to othersMy experience from the initial phone call requesting a quotation to liaising with the team on uplift day and delivery end was generally excellent. I was most impressed with how easy Tori made the quotation process and not only did the team accept about 1.5m3 over my allocation (as I had underestimated the number of small boxes before actually packing), but included a small 2-seater and single-seat settee that was not meant to be moved. Although the uplift was some 2hrs late in arriving (in the Coromandel travel times are unpredictable due to the nature of the remote roads), my Neighbour oversaw the uplift on my behalf as I had to leave prior to catch a flight to Napier. All my belongings were delivered on the Wednesday following the Friday uplift with no damage to speak of and with no missing articles (there were many small boxes and odd dismantled items). I would definitely recommend Conroy Removals and I will certainly have them at the top of my list next time I need moving services. My sincere thanks to the Conroy team for taking care of my belongings and taking the stress out of the moving process for me. Great job!
There was some delay beyond expected in getting the quarantine inspection. Not sure whether this was an admin or a quarantine inspector problem. Otherwise the whole process of moving was seamless with great communication and service.
Darren was an excellent foreman. Clear in his explanations of what was going on. Clear about what needed doing. Good guy. Nathan Forlong the pricing rep was excellent to deal with. And he assisted more than he needed to.
I only managed the Auckland end o my comments are from booking your services and the Auckland pick-up perspective.
I would have valued having contact to tell me when the shipment was departing for Wellington and when it was going to be delivered at the Wellington end so that I could liaise with my clients and provide them with an end to end service - I acknowledge that I could have called you to find these things out but for a five star service it would have been great if you could have taken the initiative.
I run a concierge business and one of the things we do is move clients. We like to form partnerships with suppliers and we'd want to have that level of contact if we were to work with you again.
The two guys who picked up the goods from the Auckland location were fantastic - organised , flexible, mindful of time and efficient as well as polite and easy to work with. Please thank them from me.

A very efficient move, the 3 men were very pleasant to deal with, worked hard and kept us informed throughout.
The only negative is we have a lengthy groove across wooden floors where our piano was put down on inadequate floor covering and moved into position. It has left a 2m or so depression in the floor due to one wheel not rolling. Carrying into place or using thicker floor covering would have avoided this as was used moving the piano out from our old house.

Although the workers were friendly and efficient, very obliging, we were disappointed with the lack of communication in respect of the delay (which you had no control of). But I would have liked phone calls or texts keeping us informed.
The administration is excellent and Conroys were the only company that had the availability to cover our move.
For the two days of packing I would have preferred the packers to either remove their shoes or use shoe covers as it was raining heavily and the carpet got wet and dirty.
