I was having the bill paid by a third party but day to day comms needed to be with me. This was very hard and invoices kept coming to me despite asking for the payment comms to go to X, and the operational (eg delivery time etc) to go to me. This was time consuming and annoying because it kept happening.
But pick up and delivery - flawless, really good.
It was just the comms side of the money versus operational that was clunky and annoying. I see the email for this feedback I got was addressed to "X". X is the third party. The feedback email went to my address, not X's). For some reason your systems don't seem to be able to deal with something that I'd think would be very common and quite simple - one contact for billing, another for delivery.
Overall good service. Pick up truck was almost sent to Porirua instead of Hastings where I was calling from! (I rang the Napier office)
We were very happy with the service provided by Conroys for our recent relocation from Hawkes Bay to Paeroa - especially as it was under a mix of Level 3 and Level 2 Covid restrictions!
All the staff were excellent including quoting, admin and removal teams at both ends.
We were expecting delivery 8.30am but when I phoned about 9.30 I was advised the truck was coming up from Napier and would arrive early afternoon which it did. This was not a major problem but could have been avoided with better communication within Conroy's then to us.
Removal of our stuff was done too slowly with a late start. That meant an embarrassing overlap of an hour with the incoming owners. Apart from that all else went smoothly and with no problems, breakages etc.
Considering the circumstances of moving during a pandemic we think Conroy's done an amazing job. Communication was great and everything arrived intact.
