Only thing I would like to comment on, when items were left behind due to no room, a follow up phone call confirming a day and time. The new owners were moving in and it just added a little stress. Overall my experience with you guys was excellent

Entire house contents loaded into container on friday and delivered to new house on monday by Conroy's boys ( no heavy lifting on our part )
Pleased with no damage to anything major - especially as we decided not to insure the goods in transit - as we felt this was very expensive - NOT Conroy's insurance but outsourced
When the removal men arrived, they were surprised to find that there was a piano to be moved, even though I'd specifically explained to the office staff that this would need moving. They had not been told there was a piano. This reflects poor communication and although it didn't affect the move, a delay was incurred whilst two other piano movers arrived. During the piano move, it suffered scrapes and gouges which was disappointing. All the stairs it was moved down suffered damage which I mentioned to the estate agent before the new owners moved in.
The guys were great and worked hard to get us in quickly. Sadly there were a few items damaged during the move and some damage to the walls.
1. My move was a little complicated - I am moving to Auckland but do not know when. I need everything stored in Christchurch initially and then only 2 thirds of the contents to come up to Auckland when required. This was a bit of work to gain the understanding and get the quotes right but the team worked well with me on this.
2. Disappointing timeliness- I organised the packing for Friday and the pick up on Monday to give me the weekend to clean etc. (I am working full time in a new job). On Friday Conroy's sent only one man who was only able to get the bedrooms and bathrooms packed. They said they would be there first thing Monday morning to complete the packing - they turned up at 11am. There was a great team and they worked so hard. But they didn't finish until after 6.30pm leaving me with only the night to clean and prepare for the morning hand-over. I worked until 11pm and went back first thing in the morning to finish off before work. This was actually unacceptable when I had arranged the times and days to suit and that is the reason I paid for packing etc because I do not have the time. The communication around this was not great or respectful. When I phoned to see where they were on the Monday, the 'Moving Manager'? was blase and laughed, saying 'Dont worry they will get it done', without realising the pressure that this put me under to clean and prepare late into the night and early the next day before work.
3. The team that came to pack and move were marvellous. Friendly, respectful, hard working and I am really appreciative of there efforts. The deserve some great recognition for their work.
4. I hope that the rest of the arrangement, storage and getting to Auckland will be easy.
Service from Conroy was good, but I did have issues with the movers on the US side, so the total experience was not good.
