There were some 'minor' abrassions on some of the furniture items (not enough padding between?) and the quoted bubble/international wrap for the leather couches wasn't done but overall a good job and cheerful, helpful and courteous removals staff!
Hi Conroy team,
Thankyou for organising the removal of our boxes from Burleigh St to Edwin Street yesterday. Just a note that one of the movers helped to load the truck but did not turn up to Edwin Street to unload leaving Ziggy to do all the unloading with our help.
Having said that we were pleased to have Ziggy on our move as he did a very good job. His packing in the truck was a smart piece of work and all-round he was a great ambassador for Conroy. We would have Ziggy again doing our removals. We would have scored you a 5 if the other mover had turned up to help with the unload
only thing i would suggest is to update text the people at destination likely time of delivery
Great team. All the staff is effective, professional and friendly. One item was missing, but they helped me find it soon. Will recommend to my friends.
Have only unpacked half our boxes so far (3 days since boxes delivered). Found a broken ornament and a broken glass dish. So sad but probably not bad either.
The shift itself was great - good and pleasant people who worked hard. However this experience with Conroys was marred by not receiving adequate notice of the shift start time. By 4pm on the day before I had not been advised of the start time. Phone contact led to 'leave a message' on three succesive calls. I needed to know the start time for organising my own life and therefore drove to the Porirua office to find it out. I mentioned the discoutesy of inadequate advice of start time to the driver. After the shift a supervisor contacted me and he was totally unapologetic about the late advice and my having to go to the office- I am a busy man he said, I would have phoned you at 5 pm. This did not seem a very customer focussed response or to take any account of the fact that customers need to know in good time whether they will be shifted in the morning or the afternoon - 5 pm the day before is not good enough. PS. I was organising the shift for your 90 year old customer.
Excellent customer service from the team - verry easy tp dea; with. both booking and moving staff.However was disappointed that a component of my external wardrobe was lost as part of the move.
Very friendly people with great communication. I would recommend Conroy removal services.
