Communication before and after was excellent, however communication during shipping was not the greatest, especially when you are trying to find out where your belongings are at any current point in time.
All staff were friendly, helpful and efficient
The overall experience was positive. All staff - sales, admin, and movers - were friendly, helpful and efficient.
The only negatives were:
1. Communication before pickup. I had to phone Conroy's the day before pickup to find out when to expect the truck. This communication about timing was better managed at the delivery end.
2. A desktop Personal Computer, packaged and wrapped with "FRAGILE" tape, has been damaged. It no longer starts up properly, and I will need to send it to technicians for a repair quote.
Very good and helpful
We have found your staff very good and helpful. The only problem we find is boxes are not very clearly labeled for what is inside. this is making it hard to find items needed.

Fast and efficient
Fast, efficient. Haven't opened all the boxes yet, but nothing broken so far.
The teams were fine, although a few swore a lot, and were critical of the previous team's work which doesn't affect us, but doesn't come across well.

The uplift went well and efficiently. The guys had us all packed up in just over four hours. The delivery was on time but felt the team were rushing to get unloaded and while they did ask where things should go, it seemed that they were in a hurry to unload and go. The driver said he would come and say goodbye but that never happened.

Packing and delivery was excellent
The packing and delivery process was excellent. The team that deliverd unpacked and took away all packing rubbish and were very pleasant to work with. The only thing I would like to have known was an upfront explanation of the shipment not departing until the container was full. My shipment was picked up on the 25th February 2025, but did not arrive until 21st June.
Happy with the service provided
Moving is always a fraught exercise. I thought the price was fair. Communication was very good throughout the process. Truck arrived for pickup and drop off exactly as advised (slightly earlier). We packed and unpacked ourselves. Only very minor damage so far of a brittle plastic item and a jug I packed (haven't finished unpacking yet) which one could reasonably expect with such a big move. I can't complain at all and am happy with the service provided.
Professional, helpful and friendly
All the people we dealt with at Conroy were professional, helpful and friendly. They are an efficient team. The packers and the truck team were particularly nice people. All communication is quick and clear.
We think they under estimated the size of the pack up, and as we unpacked we noticed some packing was done in haste. We are not blaming the packer himself, more that he probably needed a second person with him on the second day. We had been allocated 2.5 days for packing and loading, but it was all done in 2 days. So the sole packer on the last day was over worked.
For example, photo frames not wrapped but piled together in a box, and identifying stickers being placed inappropriately on furniture (like arms and legs instead of underneath). One art piece had a sticker placed directly on it, which luckily peeled off easily considering most stickers have proven trickier to remove.
Overall we were very happy with the Conroy team, just these two areas of concern due to rushing the packer on the second day.

The guys doing the move were great - quick, careful, friendly and good suggestions too. However we were very unhappy with the communication before the move. We were told someone would contact us to tell us when the movers were coming. I tried talking to people there and they were not helpful. We were already living at Kapiti and I had to drive in at 6.30am on the Monday morning in case they were coming early (but they came to 10.15am).
Hey was happy with everything, just sometimes didn't receive emails or get replies as fast to speed up the process, but it was my fault on having the wrong signature anyway. Other than that stoked.
